Marina Bay URA

Marina Bay Playground was originally completed in the year 2015 with Playworld's support. With a backdrop of Red Dot Design Museum, Playform 7 playground with its linear and geometric outlines echos the architectural elements of the museum's structure.

In 2020, we looked at upgrading and enhancement works to the playground. With the 10 to 15 year long lifespan of Playworld product in mind. We looked at placemaking inspirations to help rejuvenate colours and life into the main playground structure and installing a new diamond cone spinner to provide an alternate form of play element. With a local artist hand painting the structure the theme and concept of "animals in the tropics" is incorporated and forms part of the playground story.
