Lentor Modern

Lentor Modern playground brings together nature-inspired design and functional play to create a welcoming space for families within the development. At its core is a Playworld playground featuring an elevated treehouse platform, where children can access the structure via stairs before enjoying a smooth descent down a bright yellow slide. This simple yet engaging setup encourages active play while maintaining a safe and approachable experience for younger users. Extending from the main structure, children can make their way across to an adjacent rope play element using stepping pods designed to resemble tree stumps. The integration of rope-based equipment further enhances play variety, offering opportunities for climbing and coordination.

Beyond the playground, a section of Lentor Modern has been fitted with artificial turf to support recreational activities such as mini golf. This addition expands the play environment beyond traditional equipment, creating more ways for residents to enjoy casual, social and family-friendly fun within the same space.

The development also caters to adults and seniors with fitness equipment from Galopin. An Elliptical Bike supports full-body movement, while the Dual Bicycle enables two users to exercise together through coordinated upper and lower-body motion. A Seated Pedal provides a lower-impact cardio option, making the equipment accessible to a wider range of users. This installation at Lentor Modern combines safe, durable equipment with thoughtful design to support everyday play, fitness and community interaction.

A heartfelt thank you to the Guocoland ladies — Jane, Judy, Jois, Pei Lih, Diana, Atalia, Lina, Yi Lin and Letitia, for giving us the opportunity to be part of Lentor Modern's playground. I came into this project as a budding quantity surveyor, and it taught me patience and so much more. This playground holds a special place. 

To Jui Siang from Ortus — thank you for the great collaboration on the landscaping works. Catching that arithmetical error together was a proud moment, and I look forward to tackling more challenges with you.
