Mandai Rainforest Resort

Located within the lush greenery of Mandai Rainforest Resort, this playground brings nature-inspired play to life. Designed by Henning Larsen, it is deeply rooted in biophilia and seamlessly blends with the rainforest surroundings. Featuring innovative playground equipment from Playworld and Berliner, this adventure-filled space invites children to explore, climb, and immerse themselves in a truly unique play experience.

At the heart of the playground are custom-designed structures sculpted by Italian sculptor Maximilian. The stunning Cannonball Fruit structure from Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) encases Berliner equipment's climbing ropes and creates an exciting rainforest-inspired environment. As children crawl and climb, they are immersed in a world of discovery, mimicking the thrill of scaling from fruit to fruit in the wild.

Adding to the adventure is the Buttress Root-inspired play element, designed with rock climbing grips along its structure, allowing children to ascend and explore the "roots" actively. A built-in slide lets them descend with excitement, enhancing their sense of exploration and adventure.

To complement the rainforest theme, we provided Leaf Steppers, where children can bounce between platforms, and a giant netted Leaf Structure, perfect for climbing and resting while taking in their surroundings. These custom-designed features strengthen the playground’s connection to nature, promoting active outdoor play in Singapore’s lush rainforest environment.

With its safe, engaging design and nature-inspired elements, this playground is a paradise for children to develop their motor skills, balance, and creativity while surrounded by the beauty of the rainforest.
